This week’s audio excerpt from the novel White Rock is an extension of the scene from our last installment.
Ex-city planner Clate Wilkinson has just left from his meeting with our protagonist Laura Milton in which he tells her of some of the unspeakable things his crew found at the bottom of White Rock Lake almost forty years ago. She sits by herself on the hill of Winfrey Point watching the sun sink low on the horizon. Soon, a van full of young ghost hunters pulls up. Led by Samuel, a dedicated and passionate young man, the group hopes to find physical evidence of the Lady of the Lake to support Laura’s efforts.
Together, they endure some unbelievable events on the dark banks of White Rock Lake…
